We couldn’t be more excited to host a SKILLS COMPETITION for both 16U/14U and 12U/10U - and a Holiday POWER SKATING & PICK UP GAME for 14U/12U players!

SKILLS COMPETITION #2 - 12U/10U - KIRK S. NEVIN ARENA - THURSDAY 12/30/21 @ 8:20-9:50AM

OBJECTIVE:

The Power Skating & Pick Up Game will be a fun event for all 14U/12U players looking for ice time over the holidays. It wouldn’t be a Battista Hockey Event without a little bit of Power Skating and Edgework! For the pick up game we will be doing 30 minutes of Power Skating - to keep players fresh during break - then follow up with a fun organized Pick Up game for 60 minutes. There will be a referee, music, fun rules and team draft, and a pizza party post game with a fun atmosphere!

The Skills Competition will be for both 16U/14U and 12U/10U each on its own day! The competition will be a really fun event for players and for the coaches involved. We will be covering Fastest Skater, Hardest Shot, Passing Accuracy, Shooting Accuracy, Stickhandling and Agility Course, and Breakaway Competition! There will be prizes and trophies and awards for the players and will be a pizza party and snacks for after!

These EVENTS will all include the following:

Skills Competition will include:
- Hardest Shot, Shooting Accuracy, Passing Accuracy, Stickhandling and agility test, Fastest Skater, Breakaway
- Coaches will test each player broken up into groups at each skills station
- Awards, Trophies, and prizes will be awarded
- Pizza and snacks and drinks will be included
- Music and fun atmosphere!
Pick Up games will include:
- Draft teams split up into Red and Green
- Coaches split up on each team in full equipment
- Referee & EMT
- Music and MC
- Pizza and drinks/snacks for after the game
