- MITE PRESEASON CAMP -

We have a brand new camp for all 8U MITES! The Pre Season is upon us and with August right around the corner and team practices starting soon, we wanted to offer mite players the chance to prep with a preseason specific camp.

Through repetition, instruction, and a chance to be creative in a solid learning environment, the players will be challenged in a fun and positive way!

LOCATION: PALMER IMAGING ARENA

AGES: 8U

DATES: AUG 4th

TIMES: 7:00-8:30PM (90 minutes)

PRICE: $70/Player

PRACTICE PLAN: The players will have an instructional edgework session on ice with coach nick and the Battista hockey coaches. We will have 20 minutes of Edgework with 4 lines on the goal line. We will then have 4 stations with rotation every 10 minutes. These stations will cover Stick Skills, Passing, Agility Drills, and Game Situation Drills. We will then have 30 minutes left of Cross Ice games split up evenly. This will give the players a fresh chance to apply everything we worked on for the first 60 minutes. The coaches will help players recognize the skills and game situations we covered in stations within the Cross ice game.

Camp Will INCLUDE:

  • On-Ice Edgework and skating

  • Station Based Drills

  • Cross Ice Game (30 min) with instruction from coaches

  • Healthy snacks, water, and sports drinks

  • Shirt with logo
